Focusing
- When light falls onto an object, some of the rays of light are reflected by the object towards the eye
- Nerve impulses are carried by the optic nerve to the brain. The brain makes senses of these nerve impulses, allowing us to see the object uninterverted and the right size
- The curvature of the lens is altered in order to focus light rays sharply on the retina
4. Focusing on a distant object:
- Light rays that reach the eye from distant objects are almost parallel to each other.
5. Focusing on a near object:
- Light rays from near objects are divergent
